Arisu Kashiwagi is an Emmy Award-winning designer and director based in New York. Born in Japan and raised in Los Angeles, she earned a B.A. in Fine Arts, Graphic Design from Yale University in 2005.

Arisu began her career as a designer at Imaginary Forces before establishing herself as an independent director working across the creative industry. Alongside producer Anna Kim, she currently runs a creative agency specializing in branding, video production, and title design.

Her work has received numerous accolades, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design for Netflix’s Stranger Things. In 2017, she was recognized by Art of the Title as one of the 10 Women of Title Design. She has also served as a jury member for the Art Directors Club’s 98th Annual Awards and Motionographer’s Motion Awards, and chaired the Motion/Film Craft jury for the ADC 102nd Annual Awards in 2023.
